I was delighted to feature in this radio/podcast series recorded and broadcast by UCC98.3FM. The show comprises nine programmes featuring authors reading and being interviewed on location in UCC, as well as invited guest authors and open mic readers at Fiction at the Friary, a regular fiction event held in Cork City and a wonderful literary resource. Some of the other writers featured are: Cónal Creedon, William Wall, Mary Morrissy, Catherine Kirwan, Sarah Harte, Madeleine D’Arcy, Danielle McLaughlin and Eimear Ryan, along with many open mic readers from Fiction at The Friary.
The producers are Kieran Hurley (Station Manager of UCC 98.3 FM), JP Quinn (Head of UCC Visitor’s Centre), Danielle McLaughlin (Writer) and Madeleine D’Arcy (Writer).
I’m on Episode 3, reading from ‘Dúchas’ the origin story of The First Sunday in September, and talking to Danielle and Madeleine – you can hear it on this link.
